What Matters Is A Liberation Of All That Does Not Matter

No matter how tall we are,
no matter how small we are;
we all stand on the same ground.

No matter how old we are,
no matter how young we are;
we will all leave this mortal life at some point.

No matter how rich we are,
no matter how poor we are;
we will all be buried under the same ground.

No matter how close we are,
no matter how far apart we are;
we all look at the same sky.

If it is the sun we see
or the stars
or the moon;
we all see it.

No matter how different we all are,
no matter how much alike we all are;
we share a connection
that reaches beyond our mere bodies.

What matters is a liberation of all that does not matter.

Small problems made insignificant by the vastness of the surrounding All.
Flesh, blood and bones,
born and prospered
until decayed and put to rest.
coming and going.
closing the circle.
The ground which gave birth to us
will accept and take us once again

What matters is a liberation of all that does not matter.

What matters is what happens in between.
The connection, intangible with any of our five physical senses.
We feel it when we are in a crowd.
We feel it when we are alone.
We feel it out on the ocean.
We feel it on top of a mountain.
We feel it in isolation.

It is greater.
It holds our fate.
It was here before.
And it will be here after.
We are part of it.
We are it.
And we will return to it.
Forever.

What matters is the liberation of all that does not matter.

And we will return.
Forever.
